Unilin Flooring realizes that its success is to due its employees and is proud to offer them a competitive benefits program to choose from.

  • Medical
    You may choose between two network options: Aetna or BlueCrossBlueShield of Texas. Each plan has two In-Network deductible options: $300 and $600. The plans include physician, hospital, and surgical benefits. Medical plan enrollment also includes prescription benefits with Medco Health. Pay period deductions are pre-tax.

  • Dental and Vision
    Your dental and vision benefits are combined. MetLife Dental and EyeMed Vision Care are the providers. Pay period deductions are pre-tax.

  • Critical Illness Insurance
    This policy provides a lump sum payment if you are diagnosed with a covered critical illness. You may add riders to cover your dependents; you may also elect a cancer rider. You pay the full cost and deductions are after-tax.

  • Employee Assistance Program
    The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a confidential counseling and referral service that can help you and your family cope with life's challenges. The Company provides this program to all associates and their dependents free of charge regardless of your enrollment in the Benefits Plans.

  • Globalfit Fitness Clubs
    You can save money on a fitness club membership if you live in a GlobalFit network area. There are no long-term contracts, and membership is month-to-month. GlobalFit offers a discount on the NutriSystem weight loss program.

  • Health Care Flexible Spending Account
    You can pay for eligible health care expenses with pre-tax dollars deducted from your paycheck.

  • Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account
    You can pay for eligible child or elder care expenses with pre-tax dollars deducted from your paycheck.

  • Term Life Insurance and AD&D Insurance
    The Company provides basic life and AD&D insurance equal to your annual base salary. You may also choose optional term life insurance for yourself, your spouse and your dependent child(ren). Optional life insurance deductions are after-tax.

  • Business Travel and Accident Insurance
    The Company provides this coverage in the case of an accident or death incurred while traveling on Company business (excluding truck drivers/helpers).

  • Short-Term Disability
    The Company's Short-Term Disability plan pays all or a portion of your income if you cannot work due to an illness or non-occupational injury for up to 90 days. Benefits are fully company paid.

  • Long-Term Disability
    This plan pays 60% of your monthly base salary up to a monthly maximum of $10,000 if your disability extends beyond 90 days. Benefits are not taxable under current federal law. You pay the full cost of this coverage and deductions are after-tax.

  • Retirement Savings
    The company offers a 401(k) retirement savings plan with Fidelity Investments. You can save up to 50% of your annual pay (up to $16,000) on a pre-tax basis, and the company matches 50% of the first 6% of pay you save. You will become 100% vested in the company's contributions and the earnings on them after 12 months of employment. You may change your contribution percentage or fund elections at any time.

  • Long Term Care
    Long-Term Care provides cash benefits for professional care in the home, at an adult day care center, and care in an assisted living facility or nursing home. Employees, spouses, and parents of employees and spouses up to and including age 80 are eligible to participate. Go to www.DalTileLTC.com for additional information. Rates are after tax, and based upon age, length of time you elect for the benefit, and dollar amount to be received.

  • Profit Sharing
    On an annual basis, the company will determine if a profit-sharing contribution will be made for the preceding plan year. The profit-sharing contribution is based on each member's pay and is deposited into your 401(k) account.

  • Tuition Reimbursement
    You may qualify for the tuition reimbursement program, which will pay for courses or degree programs that help you do a better job and enhance your opportunities for advancement. Courses must be approved for reimbursement before you take them. Contact Human Resources for more information. In addition, The Company will reimburse associate's cost of obtaining their GED.

  • College Savings
    CollegeBoundfund offers an additional way to save for your family's college expenses. After-tax dollars are deducted from your pay, the earnings in this account grow tax-free, and the distribution is non-taxable.

  • Whole Life Insurance
    This policy provides coverage for the face amount you select as well as cash value accumulation. You may cover your dependents and choose additional coverage riders. You pay the full cost and deductions are after-tax.

  • Auto/Homeowners Insurance
    You are eligible to apply for auto and/or homeowners insurance at special group rates through MetLife Auto & Home. You will receive a personalized mailing.

  • Senior Medical Plan
    This is a Medicare supplement plan in which you may enroll if you and/or your spouse are qualified. Qualified individuals will receive a personalized mailing.

  • Vacation and Sick Time
    The company offers competitive paid vacation and sick time.

  • Associate Purchases
    Associate purchases are available after the completion of ninety (90) days of service. You pay the cost of the merchandise plus ten (10%) percent, applicable taxes and, if required, delivery and pick-up charges. Contact Human Resources for more information.
